On the day Mi-ryung's boyfriend Jung-woo is due to arrive from abroad, she tries to prepare a little surprise party for him. When faced with her father's disapproval, she calls on her long-time friend Ha-young for help. She asks Ha-young to spend 12 hours with her boyfriend, without telling him why, while she prepares the party and tries to persuade her father. As Ha-young is forced into spending time with her best friend's boyfriend, she begins to feel a growing affection for him as they go through many incidents.

Sergeant Tak (Anthony Wong) must track down a serial killer whose victims are starved , mutilated, and killed, and weighing exactly 70 pounds.
