Mina Tepes, the Princess of the ancient covenant and ruler of all vampires , wants her race to stop hiding from the humans. Using her vast wealth, she has paid off Japan's entire national debt and by doing so, gained the right to create a district off Japan's coast that is to become the future haven to vampires worldwide. But when she finally attemps to make public the existence of vampires to the world some politicians, terrorists and rival factions are plotting to assassinate Mina before she has a chance to get Japan's and International recognition for the Vampire Bund. Now she must rely on her strength, cruelty and those closest to her, while trying to make a normal life.

Dukman was born a twin but was abandoned as a baby and sent to a place far away  by her father , King Jinpyeong in order to protect her from being killed by an influenced royal court lady, Mishil who tries to snatch away the throne from the royal successor. Dukman was later brought back to the Silla palace, where she joined forces with her twin sister Princess  Cheonmyong to oppose Mishil. However, Mi-shil devised sinister plans to have the two Silla princesses exiled from the kingdom, and in a secretive battle, Princess Cheonmyong was assassinated by Mi-shil. But Princess Dukman shrewdly enlisted the help of General Kim Yusin and eliminated her archenemy Mishil. She then became Queen Seon Duk, the first female ruler of the Silla kingdom. This drama is about a story of a beautiful queen, who has to give up her love to save the people and thus, leaving behind many brilliant achievements.

Choi Han Kyul, played by Gong Yoo , is the cocky son of a rich family who runs a food corporation. He doesn’t believe in love and certainly doesn’t want to get married despite his family’s requests. On the other hand, Go Eun Chan, played by Yoon Eun Hye, is a 24-year old tomboyish female who gets mistaken as a guy quite often. She takes up every job possible – waitress, food deliverer, etc – and has the responsibility of taking care of her mother and younger sister. Eun Chan accidentally meets Han Kyul twice, once on a delivery and once during a robbery. During the robbery, Eun Chan’s delivery motorcycle ends up being damaged. Han Kyul, not knowing that Eun Chan is actually a girl, decides to hire Eun Chan as a false “lover” so that he can escape the blind dates arranged by his grandmother. Meanwhile, Han Kyul’s cousin, Choi Han Seong, is an established music producer and his ex-girlfriend Han Yoo Joo, who Han Kyul secretly loved for nine years, is a famous artist who studied in New York. The two were lovers for about 8 years but their relationship ended when Yoo Joo broke up with Han Seong. Two years after they separated their paths cross again when Yoo Joo returns to Seoul.
After getting an ultimatum from his grandmother, Han Kyul takes over a run-down old coffee shop, later renamed Coffee Prince, to prove his ability, both to his grandmother and Yoo Joo. In order to attract female customers, he only hires good looking male employees. In a struggle with money, Eun Chan, whom Han Kyul has already mistaken as a boy, hides her gender identity to get a job at Coffee Prince. Soon feelings start to spark between Eun Chan and Han Kyul. Because he’s unaware that Eun Chan is a girl, Han Kyul starts to question his sexuality.

The opening starts with the introduction of a prospective boxer, who is also a genuis. At 17, Tae Woong (Hyun Bin) meets two people who will later become people he loves. One becomes his best friend and the other, his love. The guy he meets is Kim Jeong Kyuis Lee Sun Ho also classified as a genius, and though at first they did not get along, they soon set aside their differences  and became best friends. Jeong Kyuis tells Tae Woong about a girl he admires and promises to introduce him to her. Unexpectedly, Tae Woong meets this girl and for a day the two run away together. The following tragic events soon took its toll on the rest of Tae Woong’s life, and forgets about ever set a date to meet the little girl. Then, for 8 years he struggled to carry on with his life. At 23, Tae Woong is now a third class boxer and in unexpected events, finds Bo Ra (Sung Yu Ri), the girl he once knew. The tale continues into the world of the cold-hearted Bo Ra and it is only Tae Woong that could possibly melt her heart. It slowly unfolds many secrets along the way and the past is soon to be made right again. With the help of Tae Woong’s love, Bo Ra learns to find happiness within herself, and in return, Taw Woong comes into terms with his past. Although this winter will be very cold and scary, winter is not the end of the seasons, but the beginning of the hope for a greater love. This drama is adapted from Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen and also pays tribute to Korea’s lengendary boxer, Kim Deuk Gu.

Tetsunosuke Ichimura has always been upset about his short stature. Tetsunosuke, now 15, heads to the headquarters of the Shinsengumi with his older brother Tatsunosuke, looking to join the historical group to fulfill his dreams of getting stronger. Little does he realize what he is about to experience by doing so, for in order to join this army, one must forego his humanity and become a demon.
